Properties: colorless monoclinic crystal. Smellless, with cold and bitter taste. Relative Density 2.59(Anhydrate, 20℃). Soluble in water easily, and its solution is one kind of slight alkaline fluid. Soluble in turpentine and ammonia, insoluble in alcohol.

Application
:
Used as a photographic fixing agent, dechlorinating agent after pulp is bleached or cotton fabrics are bleached. Or used as medicinal detergent and disinfectant.
In food Industry, it can be used as a chelating agent and antioxidant. For agricultural purpose, it can be used as potassium fertilizer
and chlorine-free fertilizer. also as pesticide, herbicide, acaricide
